  • Wide Area Network:
    Wide Area Network is known as WWAN’s. It is a no cable networking system. It builds up a faster mobile signal that manages and provides a particular service provider. In other to stay connected even when away from other, WWAN helps to achieve that connectivity.
  • Wireless Local Area Network:
    WLAN is identified with the limited space or range area of networking. As a result, the maximum range of this kind of wireless networking system is a space area of a single room to an entire campus. WLAN is mainly wireless networks that work based on the radio waves.
  • Wireless Personal Area Network:
    WPAN’s i.e., Wireless Personal Area Network, is the networking system that mainly uses Bluetooth Technology. The range limit of WPAN is 30 feet from the center device.

How Does WiFi Networking Works?

A no cable or radio wave network connects with compatible devices with the help of radio waves. Just the same way as television, radio sets, and mobile phones. Moreover, it helps in building up communications between the devices quickly without the use of cable wires or connecting wired routers. Communication through radio waves in the wireless network is two-way communication. First, the data transform into radio signals with the help of a computer wireless adapter, and in the form of signals through an antenna. The wireless router decodes the signal and sends information through an Ethernet connection.

Comparison Between Wired and Wireless Network.

The term “wired network” for communication between the devices states the build-up of connectivity with the help of physical cables to transfer data. Wireless networks are the technologies that help in building up a connection with the aid of radio waves. Thus, the comparison between wired and no cable network is as follows:

1) Installation:

In the case of a wired network, it is difficult to install because the usage of more factors takes place during the installation process. But, it is easy to install in case of a no cable networking system.

2) Reliability:

Wired cables are produced, they have high reliability and performance, but in wireless networking, reliability is reasonably high.

3) Mobility:

There is no limitation to the mobility feature of a wireless network because it operates in the open area space coverage. In the case of wired networks, the range or the access to connectivity is available for a specific area.

Besides, this, there are many comparison features like speed, bandwidth, cables, security, interference, connection set up, cost, etc., compared. Therefore, it will help us to find out whether a wired cable networking system is better or a wireless one; as both have there own kind of usage and its pros and cons.
